Cliffs of Moher:
The cliffs of Moher rise some 800 feet (244 metres.) from the Atlantic Ocean and because of the indenting coastline, offers a dramatic and memorable spectacle whenever visited.
The Burren:
The name Burren comes from the Irish 'boireann' meaning 'rocky place'. The Burren is in northwest County Clare, bounded on the west by the Atlantic and to the north by the waters of Galway Bay.
It is an area of immense ecological, botanical and archaeological importance, both to Ireland and the whole world.
Aran Islands:
There are regular sailings to the Aran Islands and Doolin is the nearest point. Great for a day trip.

Horse riding: is available right next door and offers daily guided trails with spectacular views.

There is a really nice Pitch and putt course near the harbour.
Golf:
We are twenty minutes drive from Lahinch golf club with its world famous championship course and the more gentle Castle course. The renowned Lahinch Golf Course is just 20 minutes drive
Surfing:
Clare offers some of the best surfing conditions in the world. There is a monster wave at Aill Na Searrach under the Cliffs of Moher. There is gentler surfing at Lahinch and Fanore beaches.
Cycling:
This is an ideal way to explore the area. Bike hire is also available in the village.
Fishing:
There is excellent shore angling in Doolin and further north on the road towards Fanore.
