Here are two
of the most common, and direct routes to Doolin from
Dublin
and from Shannon airport (near
Limerick). If

Dublin
to Doolin
Head West
on the N4. At Kinnegad, continue west on the N6.
At Oranmore, take N18 South, and continue to N67 (at
Kilcolgan).
From there it's a scenic drive across the Burren to
Lisdoonvarna.
Then it's a hop, Skip and a jump to Doolin on
the coast route; R479. just follow the signposts
From
Shannon airport
Exit the
airport on the N19. Go North on the N18 to
Ennis.
Take the R476 or the N85 to Lisdoonvarna.
Then proceed on the R479 to Doolin as signposted
